Local does not mean temporary. Data can remain after you close the tab or browser. Avoid a shared/public device. Export a backup if the record matters, and do not use this as your sole accounting or tax record.
Backup / restore
Exports include schema version, base currency or export timestamp as applicable. A transfer records both source and destination bucket.
